Since my last post I've been expanding my collection of stuff. Above all has to mentioned my spectacular new EOS 50D... oooohh love it. Already taken about 1500 pics some of which I'll bung up here in the next few hours once I've been through them all! Also extended my prime lens collection to include a 50mm f1.8 plastic fantastic and an old school 28mm manual focus unknown random thing (f2.8) Much fun to be had, pics incoming! Just a small update, I've finally managed to update my lens collection to 2 lenses. Have been struggling on with the good old 18-55mm standard for ages and have now managed to nab a 70-300mm zoom off ebay. Cheap because the AF is duff - who cares? I can wrap the majority of my not-so-small hands around the entire focus ring anyway so no worries about problems there. So just after a cheap 50mm prime lens now - maybe santa's got a camera bag??

So, for a fresh start and a new found enthusiasm for photography I decided to start a new dA account. I do have an old one lurking somewhere which I'm not linking to here as it's full of random old airbrushings and the like - so we'll leave that one alone. This one's all about the camera. I'm only really just starting out learning how the damn thing actually works properly so bear with me and hopefully things will get better as time goes on... here's hoping!
